About The Wild Cauldron
My name is Christina and I am the sole owner and maker at The Wild Cauldron. I started my business because I truly care what we put on our bodies and use in our homes. I have always been a crafty person and over the years I've learned many skills by dabbling in different hobbies but, when I found soap making and candle making, I was hooked and a few years ago I decided to start a business so I could share my creations. Everything was going well and I was learning the ropes of small business ownership when last year (2025), my two-year-old came down with a seemingly sudden illness. He was immediately admitted to the ICU after being evaluated in the ER and that is where he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I put the business on hold as this was quite a shock and like anyone who has experience with this condition knows, it is all hands on deck to learn how to manage the condition properly. To be honest, I wasn't sure I would ever get back to it with everything going on but, like we were promised by the doctors and specialists, managing our son's condition would eventually become second nature to us. Although, T1D is a lifelong condition and his needs are always changing, my husband and I have got into a rhythm where it felt manageable enough for me to re-open my shop so I can contribute to supporting our family of six. My dream with this small business is to be able to help move our family somewhere more affordable and an even BIGGER dream is to open a brick and mortar in whereever our new hometown might be.
